The January meeting will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2011 from 11:30 - 1:00 at the San Angelo McNease Convention Center located at 500 Rio Concho Drive.
Lunch will be $11.00 or you may attend the meeting without having lunch if you choose. Checks should be payable to CV-SHRM.
The speaker this month will be Jeff Lisson. He is a partner with Carter, Boyd, Lisson & Hohensee, PC, in San Angelo. His practice includes civil litigation, employment law, probate litigation, and corporate representation. Mr Lisson will provide HR professionals with an update on how the ADAAA has broadened the scope of ADA to include an overview of how this interacts with FMLA.
CEU credits are pending HRCI pre-approval.
Don't forget that membership dues are also due for the 2012 year. Membership applications will be available at the meeting.
